KINGSTON, Jamaica – Tuesday, September 13, 2016 – Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, the Honourable Olivia Grange, has congratulated Dana-Gaye Weller on her “outstanding performance” at the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Minister Grange said: “I’m so proud of Dana-Gaye!  Making it to the Paralympic Games was no easy feat but she did it. And she promised that she would represent Jamaica well and do her best — and she has by recording her personal best. Jamaica’s athletes are still doing well in Rio and we must give them all the support”.

Last Friday, Alphanso Cunningham recorded a season’s best in the men’s javelin F53/F54.
