15 to be recognised at the 2012 Manchester Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Banquet and Awards

The Manchester Chamber of Commerce (MCoC) is set to recognise fifteen businesses and individuals at its
Annual Awards and Banquet which takes place on Saturday, 14 January 2012 at the Golf View Hotel in
Mandeville under the theme “Working Together, Succeeding Together”.
Each year the organisation invites the nominations of various businesses and individuals who positively
impacted on the development of the parish in the previous year. This year, the MCoC will honour business
achievements, technical proficiencies and overall excellence through awards for Family Business of the Year,
Business of the Year, Community Impact, Technology, Manufacturing, Education, Visionary, Commerce,
Construction, Customer Service, Health, Hospitality, Young Entrepreneur, Sports and Media. The guest
speaker is Lt. Col. Oscar Derby, Director General ‐ Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority.
The MCoC Annual Awards and Banquet is always an exciting and entertaining event. Billed as A Blue and Silver
Affair, this year promises to deliver at the same high standard with entertainment by Ken Boothe, Dimario
McDowell and the Jamvybz All Star Band. Tickets are available at the MCoC office in Mandeville.
